This was taken at one of my favorite overlooks on the way up my favorite hike in the Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a 14 mile loop that passed by 5 lakes, two waterfalls, and three peaks and required that one slide down a half mile glacier and another snowfield with a pitch of well over 50 degrees and a drop of over 400 feet. This shot was taken at the end of one of the switchbacks before we reached the first peak called Flattop. By this point, we had already hiked over 3 miles and gained over 2000 feet in altitude.

Beautiful view of the mountains and the bits of snow are delightful. Very well done.
