Been absent for a while folks!.. Just a little addition of an Orchid of some description from the back garden. Confirmation of the species would be great! Taken with Fuji Finepix 6900Z and processed with Photoshop CS3.. Hope you enjoy!

Great color on this flower. I like the background too. I think an Orton effect would really set it off even more. But overall, a very nice picture.

What an interesting presentation! It does have a 3-D look to it! I just love the colors in that bloom and how the background sets them off. I'd be interested to play around with various other backgrounds on that image as well.
