I believe this to be a Jamaican or Costa Rican Mint Tree but I'm not certain so I could do with some help/confirmation from fellow caedians please! The leaves are 'succulent' and are much lighter in colour on the underside. When pressed between the fingers. the leaves have a wonderful minty smell that could also pass as a 'liniment' type smell. The smiley 'face' on the asymmetrical flowers was just asking to be photographed!

Yes indeed, a face and arms outstretched for a hug! What a gorgeous flower! I love the 'sparkles' all over' I wonder how that happened. Very pretty. Verena.

These rims will be all the rage now that you've exposed them to the world. :) Great closeup capture of this beautiful flower. Lovely colours and soft look to your photo. I have no idea what kind of plant it is. Thanks for sharing.
