This was taken at Onondaga Lake, Central New York. On my way out for a joy ride. I was glad to have my cam sitting next to me when I pulled over to take a glance at the shore.
Fabulous take. I used to live in Syracuse...I might have mentioned that...and I miss the area a lot..great shot and it's perfect except for the sliding of the horizon line off to the left just a tad..easily fixable in PS or some other software program. Send more, please :)

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

What a beautiful sunset...especially for such a usually dirty lake. We live 15 mins. from here- it was such a shock to see as one of the first images and to actually know where this is! Hopefully one day they get this lake very clean and actually enjoyable- it's getting there. Beautiful picture.
This is a really great picture,at just the right moment it looks! I like the variety of colors the sky has and the reflection off of the water! Good job! :)
Jay, this is a really beautiful shot. The colors are so soft and peaceful. We do have some seriously gorgeous sunsets here in the 'Cuse, don't we?? Maybe someday the lake will be as clean as your photo makes it look!
