Same effects used here without changing tones. I probably like this one better. Any thoughts..? I used orton, dodge and burn handtools for depth and highlights.
i agree. the first one was beautiful as well, but now that i see what colors are there, i like this one better. that subtle green is really nice with the blue and gold hues. and as usual, i love the orton.
This is really cool Jay, I like it much better than the B&W version. Sometimes color is most of what makes a photo. All the effects you used enhanced them. Good job!
I like this one better, perhaps because the deep tones bring to mind fairies. But more than that I find this image intriguing because I can't tell how big the waterfall is: it looks gigantic if you look at the water, yet tiny when one looks at the framing trees and rock. There are no cues to tell the mind how big it is - and that makes the viewer stare at it and explore it. Nice!
This is wonderful. SO soft, so filled with peace. I can't help but wonder how close you were to that waterfall, and how loose those leaves in the front were as far as your footing. But then again, zoom lenses work!! :) I enjoyed very much the way the wood and rock textures bring us the framing, the colours are are just fantastic. The 'bloo' and the greenish, so fresh. An awesome photo. Verena
