I could not stand here long enough to get this incredible shot. In this one the darkness plays well with the rest of the image. These are quite dramatic. Enjoying this series.
An amazing shot, of an even more amazing scene. I'm curious, what state is this in? We have a place in Wisconsin near Baraboo called Parfrey's Glen that looks just like this.
Wow. If I didnt know this was the Glen, I would have guesses South America!
This is the 2nd in the series I've seen, and I like this one a bit more than the first... the only "wish" I could have would be a little balance in the contrast, between the shadow of the cliff and the sunlight far below. If those rocks stood out a little more, that would be cool.
This photo is amazing. I grew up in Watkins Glen (New York State) and was a frequent visitor of the glen. This not only captures the scene, but you can almost feel the other senses. The cool mist against your skin and the damp smell in the air...can you here the rush of water below and the water dripping from the rocks above. A fantastic picture that brings back my high school years...this one is going on my desktop...cheers!
