Well this series deffineatly isnt getting the responce I hoped for, even though I knew it was different then most things that are here on caedes I figured I would try to bring in something new. Anyways I like them so I am going to keep posting them. and to all who remembers why I took some time off from here, I got into my photography program in college.

im a big fan of this kind of work but speaking from personal experience also it doesnt tend to do so well with the punters - but you certainly shouldnt let that put you off doing it as any audience is better than none at all :-) the heavy lighting suits the style of this image well and is, overall, a welcome addition to your series. So stick with it - or take some photos of peppers and/or apples which seams to be the mode courante :-)

Ditto, I think this type of work is underrepresented on caedes in comparison to beaches, vistas, etc... Bravo for the bw love it

Nevermind what others think; if you like it , post it!!! It would help your cause to be more descriptive, in your prose, of the scene. Good descriptions go a long way in making the image better!! Just some thoughts:)

I'm NEW here, but I LUV this kind of work. The only thing I would comment (technically speaking) is that I wish the right side of the picture was in focus. I love detail to be sharp. Keep up the good work--this kind of work!!

I wouldn't have stopped at this grease and gunk covered chain and I'd have missed a good composition. Texture everywhere with the teeth, chain, corosion and metal behind it. Even idle and unused it still implies continuous motion in the path of the chain. I like this one too, and keep posting. I'm here for the artist community and good work doesn't always mean pretty wallpaper.

I love this kind of image. I have a couple of industrial shots from the National Railyway Museum in York in my gallery. These shots are striking as a desktop, let's have more!

you got a keen eye for the small details, which often slips peoples minds and eyes. great composition, good angle.
