Though im not to sure what all of the pipes are for, this is more from the actual brick ovens. You can also see the rail tracks where they would of had carts to collect the bricks, and all of the duct work that has come down as well as the maze of catwalks up above. 50mm f22 20sec 400ISO

Brilliant! You did an excellent job on the capture and lighting and to top it off you made it B/W! In my favorites! Well done!

I love the feel of this image. The black and white really adds to the old feeling of the image. Absolutely first rate capture. Into the favorites it goes.

The lighting and the detail are very nice. I have so many interesting things to look at and it doesnt look too cluttered. You have also captured the textures of objects really nicely. Cheers!

An excellent photo!
If I were to take an educated guess, I would say that the pipes were used to efficiently and accurately control the temperature of the ovens.
If I were to nitpick, I would comment on the occasional grainy areas inherent; whether this is because of the camera (which was what by the way?) or editing the image to make it B/W (guess only).
But since it is barely noticeable, a great image this remains!

It seems to me that what wears us down the most in life aren't the chances we take, but the chances we dont take, the dreams we put aside, the adventures we push away, the questions that are never answered
