This is my hand. I had to lean over sideways to aim the camera and then hope that my hand stayed still while I pressed the shutter. I really liked how it turned out, it took a couple tries though. It is different for me because it has more of a personal message for me.

Wonderful work. Greatly composed...and that Bible verse speaks. Thank you indeed and God bless you.

For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, His eternal power and Godhead;... Rom 1:20

Jen I love your picture and message. I feel that 16-20 helps us understand the need for prayer throughout our day and week, not just on Sunday, "I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue. If I regard wickedness in my heart, The Lord will not hear; But certainly God has heard; He has given heed to the voice of my prayer. Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, Nor His loving kindness from me."

A great shot and a great passage. Posts can sometimes entertain us or make us go "Wow" but when you know The Lord personally, a post like this has the ability to minister in such a real way that many will never understand. This post has done just that for me. Thanks and may God richly bless you.

That is awesome! It's so rare to see people using the King James. It's a welcome sight. I love the picture, I love the feel, and I love the passage.

I'm just a little blurry on the meaning of the pic itself. What is the idea behind the red chalk? It is supposed to be the hands of the artist?

I know you said you already understand the pic, but for the sake of others... yes, it is the hand of the artist. No real significance of the chalk being red, it just stood out better against the black and it was the first thing that came to my mind. I am a pastel artist, and I have a passion for chalk art, or chalk talk drawing. So I guess the chalk itself has significance in the fact that it is a piece of lecturer's chalk. The pic is really a reminder to me that the Lord has called me to be an artist and that I shouldn't be timid about it. Kinda like my signature at the bottom.
