I liked the seated figure's late 70's/early 80's outfit, so I gave the whole composition a grainy, greyscale "days gone by" feel...The seated figure original can be viewed here...and the background original can be viewed here...

Hey there my owd marra!....I have a pair of 'strides' (pants) just like the ones this lady is wearing.....Nice and cool in summer and for 'lounging' in the garden with a chilled glass!

Lovely effective work again!....

A gentle reminder for those of us that remember doing just that :) Nice clarity and good work. Thanks for this one.

Please know that I enjoy your work even though I don't always get to comment. I try to look at (and enjoy) all your new posts and always appreciate the time you take to stop in at my gallery as well. Have a happy day ;) Anita

Like an old time photo. I like your ideas and I like seeing images of those times. I see you left a calling card too!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Fantastic work. The lady fits there so fantastic. First I thought, you "just" made the image look old, I would have never thought, that the lady was not there all the time. How do you always find ladies with Dr. Scholls?

I was just going to say that but Sabine got ahead of me...I know you definitely like those sandals, and who wouldn't? Your talent is exceptional. I would challenge anyone to say that this wasn't taken just the way it is here..someday I'm going to find the right amount of whatever it is to bribe you to tell me how the heck you do this so very well....great job, Ron.

I looked at the 1600x Very excellent. I have labored over a number of similar transfers with my car pix, cleaning up the background or a complete move. Bravo!
