I haven't done one in this series in well over a year and a half...As promised, this is for our verenabloo...in appreciation of her ongoing support and encouragement to all of us within the Caedes Community...and to cheer her and her family on with the arrival of her grandaughter, Lotus...

...I decided to be extra creative and not lazy with this one, and made the whole thing from sctratch, instead of "bits & pieces" tracing or components from past Illustrator files...I used to concoct some wierd car/street rod illustrations via pen and ink when I was a teenager, having been inspired by the likes of Ed "Big Daddy" Roth...and famous custom car designer George Barris...I thought a "hot rod" type car would be more fitting...I hope she likes it!

A great creation for X Yogi. This should put her spirits in the pink. When I hear the name Big Daddy associated with vehicles I always think of "Big Daddy," Don Garlits.. Of course I used to live in California. Nice post.

sweet rod. I've been experimenting with pinstriping in illustrator. I'm no Von D, but once I get it down maybe you'll let me stripe a fender or two for ya ;). really nice job though...

I also wanted to comment again on the detail. I just noticed the fact that you can see the caliper and the rotor through the rear rim, effin sweet dude...

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! This is soooo wicked good!! Oh my gosh! Here I thought you were going to do a "Cougar" thingie. And look at this fantasticly awesome creation Ron!! And how did you know I love stars? I even have a collection of various ones.I love the 'named' tires!! very very kewl!! And there's even a "V" on the engine block!I mean, truly, you should send this in to some great hott rodd place to manufacture these! Well, limited edition anyways!!heehee What a great job you did with all the colours, the style, the lines, and I do so appreciate your cheering on with little Lotus Delilah! But I think I need it more then her..lol
I'm sorry I haven't been on here much, I've had a huge "new" health issue, ongoing for now, but hopefully not for long. And my ol' puter will NOT upload again so I'm hoping to get the new one started in a few days. Thank you a ton, Ron for this lovely gift..and thanx to everyone...for being so supportive!
