...I haven't done a collab with the Owde Bugger in ages...so I thought I'd do this post of his...It's really cool as it was...so I went and "ruined" it a bit! >;)

The female in the image is non other than my half-sister, Margie, who like myself, has also has gone through "you know where"(we won't get into that, thank-you-very-much)...

I've always wanted to do a tutorial (I'm thinking about one on something)...but it's so hard to describe just how to go about doing it...My instructor at school always said that you develop you own technique...your own way with these apps...

With the castle, however...(Photoshop) all I did was cut bits and pieces of the original image, and layered them one on top of another...then used the lighting effects, with respect to color and direction of the main light source (in this case...the "moon")...then intensified...or decreased light...again with respect to layer placement, light source, and shadows on the original...You may want to put a "brightness" setting on your topmost layer to check shadowing against the original image layer (make sure you LEAVE the original image layer...until you get it right)...If you can make sense out of that...try it...

You got the eerie effect all right. Margie's lovely face looks as though it will disappear and appear again. Good job Ron, I personally like it a lot.

It looks like the castle is pulling her back again Yogi. What a great mood piece this is. It looks like she is remembering and the memory is not totally pleasant. I don't think I have the smarts to make one of these. I will just enjoy yours.

Surreal, moody and very well done! I think Tick said it so well, and I agree with him. There is a sadness in her eyes that
caught my eye. Love it!

Nice composition. The yellowish/green tint gives it a very creepy feel ;) Nice work.

huh, I think I like what your instructor has said: I keep downloading all these tutorials, but usually I either have to modify them or end up discarding them. Fascinating color, gives a successfully bizarre feel to the image.
