”…The wireless operator took the small sheaf of paper from the Captain, and strode back to the mechanical bustle that was contained within the radio shack…Unfolding the message, he read:
'CQD at the above coordinates…Anyone whom responds should be advised that we are twenty-two hundred in number, going down by the head, and time…is NOT of the essence…' ”


...This is my entry for the “Desolation” contest…Even after almost a century later, mystery and legend still continue to surround this submerged giant…

In 1912 I think the "SOS" signal was already in force. I like that impression of "juice" emanating from those terminals. Good luck in the contest Ron.

That is desolation personified Yogi. I can't imagine how they felt as the "ship that even God couldn't sink, sunk."

My computer went belly up and I won't have a new one until Friday. The monitor on this laptop makes every thing look dull so I will return to give it a true look.
