"They say you're beautiful,
And they'll always let you in...
But doors are never opened,
To the child without a trace of sin..." -RJD

...This is my symbolic rendition of Murray, the icon and mascot of the genius of heavy metal singer/songwriter Ronnie James Dio whom has been an influential member of the bands Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath/Heaven & Hell, and of course ...Dio itself...I have quite a few albums and CD's featuring this mighty warrior of metal, and I have seen him live in concert quite a few times over the years, (mostly Dio) and it has always been quite an experience...

This past November, Ronnie James Dio was diagnosed with stomach cancer, and according to the official website, his fight with this ugly disease is going in the positive direction! I and many other devoted fans prayers are with the "Dragonslayer" (if you've ever seen the Sacred Heart stage set-up - circa 1986) and hope for a complete recovery and return..to "dream evil"... for years to come!

Hear! hear!....I agree, Dio has a terrific belter of a voice...I too have had quite a few albums of him, and the others you mention...I suppose my favourite group/band of that era when they all worked with each other!...mainly 'Blackmore'!
Was/is Deep Purple!....still go to see them when they are in our area!

Hope Dio gets shot of this terrible disease!..
