"...Captain Tick was indeed happy to see the freshly minted coins before him...After all, they were all made to his specifications...'Arghh!...Me cache'll be safe fer all the years t'come...Y'see, matey...I have a bit o' a pirate's curse put in each one o'them!'"

In many legends of pirate folklore, the treasure ALWAYS seems to carry some sort of "curse"! (LOL)...The coin images all sport the Gothic word faurhtjan, meaning "be afraid"...The "map" background is from one of my stock image archives...

The thing that most people don't know is that before you touch the treasure you need a Witch to take the curse off. They usually get a big cut too. :) lol Most smart treasure hunters take a witch with them.......that's why I don't go......you know me, a witch is something to steer clear of in my book. lol Good one matey........hope you had a witch. :)

Very nice job Ron, the coins look very real. Normally these can be found only with the help of the map: Island's name and position indicated by "round rock" and pinnacle in line 50 yards - or something like that.

It's funny. I have a question - what is the rate of that currency against the Euro or US Dollar :-))

I knew there was a treasure. Jack Sparrow is holding out on me Yogi. He will walk the plank for this. I like this one.

Marvelous idea and creation, Ron! I think I'd like to see more detail in the map, but your Mint work on the coins is fabulous, and I like the texture you applied to them.
