Invented by Anrood The Great himself (One of the many reasons why they made his alien butt the founder of the Realm), the Leaderworm Drive is pretty much the de-facto choice method of propulsion of 90% of interplanetary/interstellar travel within the Realm...

The process is a simple one... Spatial mass is forced into a reaction/intermix chamber
(front), where it is compacted, aligned, and becomes a rotating center axis of motion by an energy flux, and then forced through the leaderworm chamber (middle), thus taking the form of an energy "lead screw"... As the spatial mass works its way through the leaderworm chamber and out through the alignment tube, the "lead screw effect" propels the engine (or craft) forward or backward, depending upon which direction (CW/CCW) the mass is rotating...Speed is regulated by how much or little force spatial mass is driven through the system...The threaded portion of the leaderworm chamber is kept supercooled to prevent overheating due to friction generated by the movement and rotation of the spatial mass...

More or less just another doodle utilizing this ongoing theme...

I have to say that this is WAY over my head, but the design is awesome nonetheless. Nice work and very interesting narrative Ron.

Spend a few minutes each day being grateful for what you have and who you have to share it with.

Never argue with an idiot. They'll drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.
