Nothing that imaginative to post today...

...Medical memorabilia I insisted upon keeping that was left over from last summer when I was hospitalized for almost a month, and the home rehab that transpired afterwards...Still sort of recovering, and now have to stay off my feet more than I once used to, but I'll be all right...Have to take off some weight I've put on during the past 8 months, and keep it off, however...

[Clockwise] 1) (left) - The mobile pouch the wound vac sat in (Therapy finished in mid September, 2012)...They let you keep this, they only want the head unit back afterwards... 2) - (behind vacpouch) A bag of a few unused IV implements, including an unused IV antibiotic bag itself (The mobile hanger/hook goes back - Therapy completed late July, 2012)...3) - (right of vacpouch) Unused wound vac canister...The part that collects the discharged fluid, thus aiding in faster healing...4) - (bottom) Unused vac dressing kit...This is the airtight componentry the visiting nurse would change every couple of days, along with canister replacement that allows the head unit to continuously do its specified job...

Glad you are doing better, Ron.
The keepsakes are a reminder that you don't want to go back there !

Anyone with diabetes has to be careful Ron. You have to follow the doctor's instructions strictly if you don't want to land up in hospital again. All the best for the future, take care.
