The best VP debate I have seen in recent years was the one between Dick Cheney, Republican candidate and Democrat Senator Joe Lieberman. They kept the debate on the subjects, showed each other respect, did not interrupt each other, and basically, for us political nerds, showed the country what a real done debate should look like. Too bad Bush and Gore did not live up to the VP's standards.
