- It's true the NRA has boocoo political clout and $$$$$$$, but half the time, they don't even need THAT! Whenever some sort of gun legislation is introduced, all Wayne LaPierre REALLY has to do is haul a semi-load of legal documentation dating all the way back to about one hundred fifty some-odd years SUPPORTING the need for firearms (in accordance with the Second Amendment, of course), and BLAM! - Evertyhing's suddenly unconstitutional!
