...No, the successor to this unit is NOT named after this famous magician, nor his rabbit-pulling son --- My newest smartphone is instead named after the street on which I resided all through my adolescant years - and they were anything BUT "magical"!

...The handset itself is a different matter...Great storage space, extremely powerful, more built-in battery conservation features, great camera, IP-68 rating, wireless charging, AND the "blast-your-ears" headphone goodies! Although I wasn't too hip on the previous one, it held out for much longer than the one it replaced...Since this current unit is by the same manufacturer as the one before it, I should have it longer...Guess we'll find out!
