--- Always an avid reader of all kinds of books, the elder Patrice (or "Widow Novella" as many of her deceased husband's cronies now called her) was more openly able to take in the essence of what information and literature was offered, instead of having to spend time at the library because her husband didn't necessarily approve of the material she'd choose... After he had passed, she caught up on a whole lot of reading, put herself through college, got a degree in History, and became a part-time writer, often providing material for quite a few published written and video documentaries for the rest of the years of her life... It was these endeavours, that inspired her eldest daughter, Gretchenne, to pursue her own chosen career...
