Not really. Other than in the Zoo's, there are no Polar Bears in Ohio. This was taken near Port Clinton, up on Lake Erie.

If there was a Polar Bear out there he would be camouflaged. I really like the foreground in this. It leads you out to the frozen water and the lake beyond. The tree really adds depth to this shot. Looks too cold to be bare. Nice photo Jim Bobtail.

Wow, it might not really be polar bear beach but it certainly could be. There's a quality about your recent photos that I really like. Deep blues and wonderful winter whites, and the tree adds depth as Tick says.

Sheesh, I thought this was froth in the Ocean, but I see it's snow. It's beautiful! I love how you got the big ol' tree right in front, and then my eyes went from the white to the soft bloo and then the darker bloo in the sky..Just lovely. A nice presentation ideed my friend!! Verena

Where are the polar bears Jim ?
What do you mean there aren't any. :o( Oh well perhaps we could arrange charter flights from the Arctic, & put Ohio on the map for bears needing to escape the winter blues. ;o). Remember the idea was mine 1st !!
