Just when I thought the series was over, I found another one that I wanted to post. So, the Early Morning Snow series is being revived, for at least this picture, and who knows...maybe a couple more.
With the storm moving in today, you will be able to continue this series up through May!!! Wonderful composition, Jim, and I like the color on the two trees in contrast with the darkness and snow around them.
Well, I love looking at the stuff...just don't send anymore out my way. I have a couple more of snowfall that I'm going to be posting, so we'll keep everything on ice for a while!
"Where there is perhaps a province in which the photograph can tell us nothing more than what we see with our own eyes, there is another in which it proves to us how little our eyes permit us to see." ~Dorothea Lange
Just like Sly Stallone and his Rocky and Rambo movies. Just when you think you've seen the last one--up pops another. The only difference is yours maintains the quality throughout Jimrockyxbob. Good work my friend. Did you notice you had something green on your hat?
Still finding things you'd forgotten about, Jim? the room's still vacant in the New Brighton Home for the Bewildered! lol Great snow shot with good lighting.
Don't tel me you have a 'rubbish bin with a golden band' as well Jim. lol.
Let them come as I never get tired of watching such a beauty! Great work!
Regards, Cornelius
God's magnificent creation is full of beauty waiting to be captured - when you think you've seen it all, something you've never seen comes up and amazes you.
3-5-7 forever
Definitely worth posting, the specks of colour and the warmth of the tree trunks are good. Maybe a touch more foreground just to 'ground' it, but I like it, I like it!!
"The more we come in contact with animals, and observe their behaviour, the more we love them, for we see how great is their care for their young." - philosopher Immanuel Kant
I love seeing the snow, but wouldn't like dealing with it!
This winter scene looks fantastic on my desktop - an eye catcher for sure! The splashes of color are beautiful against the snow drapped trees. I'm glad you decided to post this shot, Jim :^>
