This is not the original sky in this picture. I was trying to make it look like a sunset. It's about the only way to get one for me. I must have bad timing.
Looks great as a DT Jim! I love the deepness of this! Really rich looking. And I think Pat is right..it does resemble an oil painting in a way. Bravo buddy!

nice work Jim - always good to experiment and I think you set yourself a difficult task here as the sky would need to reflect in the water but it has great atmosphere - well done!!

Pictures say a thousand words but the artist taking the picture can say more. Take care and god bless you and yours each and every day'
What really brings a member to view your work I say the naming of your image I know it does me, the name makes me want to see that image'

You are neither taxed nor fined if you look at My Gallery.
Wow now that's what you call a mean sky. Where are the twelve horsemen? As for the flipping water (!) I wouldn't have noticed the lack of reflections to be honest, I think the sea is choppy enough for there not to be any. Keep on truckin' JimBob.
A little tip....Next time try and duplicate the sky...flip it upside down and make it reflect on the water!..with a lower opacity!.....
You certainly got the right idea pal!..
