I don't think I have ever seen clouds like this before, at least that I can remember. The picture was taken at Metzger Marsh, near Toledo, Ohio.

Jim, This is a real beauty of a shot. Besides the neat clouds you have good reflections too. I like the color tones here as well. This is very nice. I have seen these kind before and found them so interesting. I'm glad you took a shot. sandi♥

The soft tones and gradation of colour is very well captured. Enhanced more with the sharp details of the f/g. Then finished off nicely with the reflections. Lots to look at here. Good work.

Beautiful image and a great reflection to boot. I belive that cloud formation is called Mammatus if I am not mistaken. At any rate, I love this image and you have come a long way in a short time with you captures lately. Great work and keep up the superb posts.

Those are quite some clouds aren't they. I don't think I've ever seen any quite like it either. That said, we are getting very accustomed to an impenetrable blanket of sky here this summer - I always think it looks like rumpled satin sheets; or egg whites being whipped to make a meringue. Yes I know, I forgot to take my medication this morning. Great shot JimBob.
