Wow Jim, this is a MAGNIFICENT capture, hope you didn't get wet. Love the sky & great textures of the dried up water lilies. Looks like a storm is coming in, run for it. BRAVO my friend.

Excellent capture. I ones shows the change of seasons so well. I like the colour contrast between the dead lillies and the trees and the sky!! I have faved this one. Lyn.

I found such a place like this as well JimboB. I will return in the summer for those lilly pads. It is not an area as big as this. I am glad you posted this because now I won't have to post one.

I like the angle and the brown plants in the lake. Also the clouded sky gives the image a dramatic look. Very well done!

I love the foreground in this JimBob. The jumbled, dry leaves that we've seen in other shots, but beautifully presented here. They give a real sense of depth to the shot and there's a nice contrast between the warmth of the leaves and the smooth coolness of the water. The background's not quite as successful for me - trees and clouds look a bit fake, I wonder if it's from HDR - but it all comes together to make a great image. Your work just keeps getting better from where I'm standing JimBob.
