Everything was coated with ice on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. With -30 degrees F wind chill factors, and no sun, it never got the chance to melt, and a lot of it is still there. It looked nice, though.
Very pretty ice scene...Love to look at them....hate to drive in them. Great capture and that post work is something else. Got to go now,,,,,,,,,,you making me cold.
WOW WOW WOW Jimbob. I'd rather have all the white shit then the ice your getting. This is really a breath taking capture my friend, drive & walk carefully
Today it's in the Low 40's here with a wind chill factor in the low 30's when you consider the wind and high humidity. Which is like 30 below for you up there.
Tomorrow it is forecasted to be 71 degrees. GO FIGURE. Hot-Cold, Hot-Cold.
Is it any wonder people get SICK.
Al Gore and His Damn Global Warming.
Thanks for showing what I'm Glad to be Missing Jim.
I just wish it were Autumn Year Round.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Isn't it a beautiful sight - when every tree branch gets covered in frost from the fog? I have several images in my gallery that I took last winter when that happened where I live. Lovely shot. Thanks for sharing it with us.
A really good shot JimboB and I like your postwork as well. You have found the right recipe for taking and posting beautiful artwork. A tip of the hat to you.
I'm not going in there, though you'd think that a woman who hangs out the window in 20 degree weather is used to the cold! lol I shut the window, Jim. This shot reminds me very much of Narnia and I expect the witch to come bounding by in her sleigh at any moment! I hope things get warmer for you.
We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"
In my country we can only dream of such wonderful sceneries Jimbob. Can't even remember when we had our last white Christmas, but I can ensure you that's a pretty long time ago.
Thanks for this wonderful post my friend as it gives me a 'white Christmas' feeling though.
Regards, Cornelius.
