There is only one member of the Yacht Club so far, a cause not ever' one can afford a luxurious boat like this. A little bit of Orton, here in this shot. Thanks for the comments.
It won't amaze me that the owner of this boat enjoys being on the water more than some people making a cruise on a 'floating palace', lol.
The little bit of Orton you've used is a proper choice Jimbob, as it gives the image a wonderfoul touch.
Very good work again my friend.
Regards, Cornelius.
Great use of Norton on this JimboB. It gives it that extra little shot of pizazz. There is a song by the same name as your title. Cousin Craig did well on it. Enjoy.
Nice work with the Norton Jimbob. That looks a lot like Bubbas boat. Me and him went fishing one day when he wasn't working at the Alligator Ranch. He did the drivin' and i did the bailing. Never seen anything leak that bad and stay afloat. Great post
Ah Jimbob, retirement is complementing you. The composition and presentation is top notch and that little touch of Orton adds a dreamy, softness, to this work.
Hey!!! At least the boat is floating!...lol...A really excellent shot! The orton looks beautiful in it! This would be gorgeous enlarged and framed darlin!

Another very nice shot, finished with the touch of an artist. Nicely done. Nice boats there ... at least they are floating, and one there we don't even have to row.
This says Giverny, France to me - it reminds me of the great paintings done there - you are in good company JimBob. Tremendous work. Retirement suits you; you are turning out some spectacular pieces and we can tell you are having fun.
I'll be a maverick and tell you I love the shot, the composition, the subject and the cattails in the background...not to forget the varied hues on the water. The Orton? Makes it nice, but I would have also tried other treatments... maybe watercolor effect or oil? I think what informs the shot is that wonderful boat and the sense of the life it represents. Nice job!
I like the shot Jimbob and the copmposition works for me. You sort of have three 'masses' with the boat and the two clumps of trees and they all feel just right in relation to one another. Like the softness of the orton too, and it has't blown the sky. Could be a touch more subtle maybe, but it makes for a nice relaxing feel.
