Did you get a release? You've posted her on the internet JimBob, Mother or not, you could be in real trouble here. I like the colors and the lighting is great. I really like the hazy background. She is probably thinking about you - like in "How in the world has this happened?

She is probably trying to figure out what you are talking about and how you turned out so .................. shall we say...........Goofy? Great post JimboB and you are indeed lucky. I still have my mother and I try to cherish every day.

Those are the best photos - taken when the person is not aware of the camera. You are lucky to have your mother still - She looks wonderful!
