This lovely woman was sitting on a bench by the Lake, enjoying the view and the nice weather. She had no idea I was taking her picture. One other thing. She is my Mother. Thanks for the views and comments.

Very nice shot! I like that you got her when she didn't know it. Indeed she looks deep in thought. Beautiful for both subject and photo.

Did you get a release? You've posted her on the internet JimBob, Mother or not, you could be in real trouble here. I like the colors and the lighting is great. I really like the hazy background. She is probably thinking about you - like in "How in the world has this happened?

An excellent capture of your Mom Jimbob. I know what she's thinkin'. I wonder how that son of mine would have turned out, if i wouldn't have accidently droped him on his head when he was a baby. Great work and thanks for sharing.

First, to be serious, it's a lovely portrait with great composition, framing and DOF and, of course, a marvellous subject.

Second, on the lighter side. I wonder what she's thinking? I'm sort of with Tick on this question! She's probably thinking that it's that Caedes.net's fault - Jim's never been the same since he discovered that site!! lol!

I've read all the upper comments Jim. I can see myself how much you love your mama by your narrative. I know she's got to be as sweet as one of her sons, which is you. Beautiful capture of her with excellent clarity! Your post work on the background turned out beautifully as well! My love to you both.
