I don't know why anyone would deface the covered bridge, but they have. There is all kinds of graffiti on the inside, too. Shame on them! Thanks for the views and comments.
This is just the kind of place I love to visit. Great shot. Nice lush greens, and looking into that dark place of mystery in the middle of the photo. Feel like you could just step into the picture!
That is a terrible thing Jim. But speaks to a big problem with Lack of Respect that is growing by leaps and bounds. I hope they catch them and make them clean it with a toothbrush!
Lovely place, lovely shot and let us forget about them graffittis - they are everwhere these days and mostly loathsome but some can be quite in place. Not here, but we can hardly help it. LOL
I remember this one previous times and what a shame. Someone should spray them with paint! I do hope the county will try to clean it up. We had a covered bridge just south of here that was set on fire! Thank goodness they rebuilt it and it still stands. ♪ ♫ :)sandi♪ =^..^=
Great picture, but you are right, why would anyone do that. Some people are just nuts and it's not just the young. I like to walk across these bridges. We have quite a few around here also. I really like this shot though.
Yes,it is a pity about graffitis, nowadays, there is no respect anymore.Very nice picture of the bridge Jim,very good clarity and the green colors are very pleasant too.
Like to agree with you from the bottom of my heart my friend: "Shame on them" indeed. Think everywhere in the world one has to deal with this problem. Think it's the result of a bad education as well. Can still remember the words of my late Dad: "Most important thing in life my son, is that you have to respect somebody else's property." Although I'm 64, I've never forgotten this lesson!
Regards, Cornelius.
Teenagers, they just don't think before they act, it is a sham. I Love the bridge and all the greenery around it. I also love your frame work. Great job on this one.
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
I like this shot despite the vandalised bridge. The framing of the bridge with the green trees just makes this, along with your framing too. Well done!

You've captured the covered bridge very well Jimbob, they're strange crossings, & I can't think why you folks felt the need to put a roof on, but each to their own hey !
This is a favorite and a download Jim! You did a very good job on this! I love these country looking scenes! Sorry about the vandalism! It happens here also in the park. Youngsters making a statement. Helps them feel powerful in their powerless enviornments. I feel sorry for them. Anyway, I love this and am thankful you posted it buddy! Allen
It's such a beautiful capture I have no problem overlooking the graffiti... although I do agree with the comment about them cleaning it up with a toothbrush!
Must be a bunch of people of little mind and definitely little consideration. Their thoughts are as scattered as their 'art' work. Must go back to their difficult potty training I expect, but that's still no excuse. I think once they are found, they should be written on with permanent markers. Of course, they'd probably love it, so nix that idea.
Someone did this to a stockade fence I had once on Halloween.
I love this bridge never the less because it is a very special part of our history and because you took such a great shot of it.
Oh Jimbob, your capture is lovely~those vandals have defaced a unique and beautiful structure! Saddens me when people do these senseless things! Love your shot with those green trees and great post work! :)Ami
Too much time, too little brains JimboB. If they were busy playing baseball or some other summer sport or working (heaven forbid) they probably wouldn't do these things. I am like C with the lessons learned from my father.
If it wasn't for YOUR fine work here, and the bridge I wouldn't be keeping this one! The first and last time to save graffiti. Too bad the graffiti is considered the work of a great artist by those who do it. Too bad too often their waste of time is left for us to see, now it will even be displayed here on Caedes, and their head will get even bigger. I still like this shot.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

Some people have no respect!! It is beyond me why they feel the need to destroy something so old and beautiful. Thanks for sharing this great one. Lyn.
It's ashamed that people just don't understand or "get it" and they feel they have to do things like that. Beautiful capture Jim and maybe someone can take care of the paintings.
Beautiful shot JimboB the colors of Bridge and its surroundings are perfect... As far as the vandal or vandals I agree with Lyn "No respect". I can only imagine all the history that has passed through this bridge since it was built in 1851. Beautiful Capture .. FAVED
Your comments make one very sad JimBob. The photograph, however, of the Mull Bridge in its beautiful spring greenery is outstanding. The colors and clarity are superb.
