This is a lovely shot you have caught Jim. I love the way the path sweeps round to the right and also the way the Willow tree cascades down partially showing the footbridge. Lovely composition and colour. Well done!

After seeing all these images from you, Jimbob, I think I would really enjoy strolling through this place and looking at all these buildings. There is a 1740-1830 village in Sturbridge, next to me, that has 40 buildings representing a rural NE village. This place reminds me of it a lot. Your posts are wonderful.
I especially like the willow tree JimboB. I took some branches from a willow at the house I used to live and transplanted them when I live now. One of them survived and I think it might make it. I originally planted the tree.
Such good work again. I can see you spent some time at the village. I am glad you did. Go Nationals.
Beautiful shot Jimbob, love covered bridges. Your capture has fabulous depth & composition. Have to agree with Ann about the path and the weeping willow making this such a peaceful looking scene.
What a nice place to be, all these unique buildings and within walking distance. Maybe someday I can visit there and I'll know just what to look for after seeing all these simple and peaceful walks you've taken. Thanks.
This is stunning! A beautiful footbridge draped by willows and led to by a curving walk! Gorgeous Jimbob! The green hues and textures from on the bridge are excellent! Well done! :)Ami
I Peter 3:8-9 Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.
I'm really enjoying the series Jim ... every time you post a new picture I go to the Sauder Village website and check out the village map to see where you took the picture ... I especially like the way the weeping willow seems to be draped over the bridge .. Great shot sir ...
An excellent shot of the covered bridge and willow tree, Jimbo. This village must be a great place to visit. I don't think i'd want to leave. Excellent post.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

The covered bridge looks like a good great place to stay out of the rain, nice how you captured the willows and the uniquely carved bridge walkway railing.... lovely scene Jimbob!
