I finally came across a butterfly that sat still for a second, while I got off a shot. Actually, I was only looking for foofy shots, so Charlie Brown was an added bonus. Thanks for the comments.

Susanlynn has me curious. Is this a moth or a butterfly?

The purple flower is lovely, but are sure Charlie Brown is a butterfly - he sort of looks like a moth. I am certain someone will know for sure. Whatever he is the photo is beautiful and you've framed it very nicely.

If it didn't eat your shirt, it is a butterfly. If you lost your shirt, it is a moth. It is a great shot JB. Did you blur some of it yourself or is this how it came out of the camera? Excellent editing.

I like the dof on this shot, Jimbob. I can't tell if it's a moth because I can't see his antennae, but if they were feathery then he's a moth. He sorta does look like a moth. Here's a link that might help.

This is a Silver-spotted skipper, which is a butterfly and not a moth. Nice one.
