The covered bridge didn't quite get away you lassoed it back to it's proper setting by the lily pad marsh pond with nice bunches of
cattails and tall reeds along the edge. What does that sign on the bridge say I can only see Please. Very cozy, relaxing and peaceful scene Jimbob!
Wonderful image of a small covered bridge Jimbob. Raj's comment above (ice cream parlour) made me smile. Thanks for this fine capture my friend.
Regards, Cornelius.
A well composed shot of the covered bridge, Jimbo. I like the cattails and lily pads in the forground. An excellent addition to this wonderful series. Somehow You forgot to include this picture???. Yes! The memory is one of the first things to go. But I seem to have forgotten what the second thing is. A fine job.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

I love the angle that you took this shot of the covered bridge, but why does it have a sign on it that (to me) says Please be seated? Or am I wrong? Great shot by the way.
I am also a lover of covered bridges! And I can see each and every lily pad. Beautiful work! Good thing you remembered it. You're like me, good memory, it's just short. The framing is a nice touch too.
I love all the different textures in this image - the water- lily type growth in the foreground, the ornate building, the straw in the field and those lovely leaves on the tree. Beautifully framed too. Well done!

What a quaint little bridge! I love the cattails in the foreground...and the wonderful way you have framed the whole scene with the tree. And even lily pads!! A perfect photo! Jimbo, you just get better all the time! I love it...verena
FDR looks really good on this one JimboB. It really makes it pop. The lily pads make it even more beautiful. I know there are frogs in there waiting to croak. :)
Good post.
They have really done a great job on the setting for this one. I am not certain of the trestle type but the roof certainly in unique. Like this one a lot JimBob. Great Photography also.
How could you have missed this beauty. Better dig deeper and see what else you can find. Wonderful image....Love the point of view and the HDR is top notch.
"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most!" ... I love the vibrant contrasting colors. Especially that massive tree hanging over the bridge. A step back into time. Saved.
