It is Sunday and my mind is in idle. When I misread your title (I at first saw it as Butterfield 8), I thought of the book and movie BUterfield 8. After I opened it up and did not see Elizabeth Taylor, (I did see a wonderfully captured butterfly, however), I did a quick re-read of your title!! lol. Another good one Jimbob!
I too thought of BUtterfield 8 when I saw the title. The book by John O'Hara was considered quite racy for its time. So was the movie. This BUtterfly 8 looks as beautiful as Liz did in the movie. That is saying something. Great work JB.
Beautiful close up Jim - there seems to be a tiny bit of reflection on the lower wing but I really like the detail of the leaf with the delicate butterfly legs upon it.
Perfect detail and nice back ground, framing works very well for this photo. Great work Jim. I think those spots are to scare away predators, they look like eyes.
