Nicely done Jim, The two tones of the butterfly go nicely with the two tones of the leaves. This is eye catching.

Another great shot. How do they know where to pose to match the background so nicely for you?

Your butterfly here is really striking and sure looks beautiful on the leaves, looks like a pinto butterfly, lol

Have a great Friday, I'm going to be at the rink in a little while today doing so volunteering with Skate Canada Northern Ontario Section. They are running a Development Camp for some up-coming skaters. I'm in charge of the music equipment and sound system.

What beautiful markings on this one Jim. Did you not say if the wings are fully open, they are elderly? This beauty does not look elderly. I have to agree with Pat, it does look like a pinto or an Indian pony butterfly.

It looks like it is standing on its hind legs polishing the leaf. Maybe you should send it to the Owd Timer so the window washer could use it. Excellent shot for your series. I am curious if this is going to be a two year calendar.
Inquiring minds want to know. lol Good work JimboB.

I like the way this one is bicolored like the plant he is on. I went to your gallery to see these butterfly shots all together. Very impressive, Jimbob.
