The plant looks like chain links JimboB. I have been checking your butterflies and this is one of the most successful series I have ever seen. This one might be the best. When you get posts in the 90's C Index you should be pleased.
Even more gorgeous than number 4!!!! That plant its sitting on makes this absolutely beautiful and a outstanding DT!! Bravo and faved once again!

These are nice enough to be in National Geographic. To me as a kid, that was the epitome of great photography! I love that plant that is featured with Madame Butterfly also.
I love the textures you have going on here with the fir tree(?) in the foreground. Amazing work you have been producing lately and I'm proud to have you as a friend.
hy Jimbob, more of the butterfly and less of the trees would have been more exciting, the detail of the tree is awesome, but the main thing you like to show is obviously the wonderful designed butterfly, so i think the focus should be more on it...keep goin Roland
Wow Jim. This series is truly remarkable. This particular capture is lovely as I like the colour and clarity of this butterfly, coupled with the detail of the conifer branches. Well done and thanks for sharing!

Stunning in details as well as presentation! I too like the butterfly's wonderful markings and colour, and that beautiful foliage really sets him off! Very well done Jimbob!
Spectacular... the combination of the colors of the butterfly, the branches, and the trunk is perfect, and the textures of the wings and the leaves complement each other! You've got great eyes and a good camera.
