Hi Jim I'm becoming a Butterfly collector or at the end I'll sing Madame Butterfly LOL.
What can I add to the previous comments posted other than congrats. for extreme precise collection. You made my wife happy in downloading all the butterflies in a folder of her win to change wallpaper frequently.
Thanks for sharing.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Sorry, Jimbob, but I can't imagine you blushing. ;0) I have to deduce from this shot that even in a house full of different kinds of butterflies, they still choose their own to mate with. Never considered butterfly cross-breeding before. Hmmm. Don't recall ever seeing this species before either. I learned two new things today, Jimbob. I'm 157 and still learning!
I think I have one like this too but not as good as yours Jimbob! Pity you can't put this in "Foul Play". Nice colours and good clarity in this "action shot"
It is not as it appears JimblushingboB. It is a rescue mission. One butterfly has fallen off the flower and forgot how to fly. The other is just offering a helping, uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, whatever it is. Great post my friend.
* Owing to the deterioration in my hands, I find that I cannot comment as much as I should..But please know...I do look at all your posts!..and will leave my 'moniker' >OB< when I do so!...Thank you all *

Great close-up. The butterflies are awesome and the photo is very well focused.
