This is Geoffrey Giraffe. He lives at the Toledo Zoo with a couple more family members. (His family members, not mine.) Thanks for the comments and views.
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
What a great name.. Geoffrey.. for this long (necked) friend! I am always enjoying good animal photo's and this one I do really like! Thanks for sharing this beauty.. Mich
He's wonderful Jimbob! Isn't Geoffrey the name of the ToysRUs giraffe? This is a superb shot, with great clarity and DOF! Lovin' these zoo captures! :)Ami
Great Picture JimboB .... I love these types of pictures ... By the way I went to our local zoo here in South Florida and Geoffrey's distant cousins (Soon to be posted) were complaining that he doesn't visit anymore .... :)
Expert shot Jim! What you did with the background really sets him off well!! Geoffrey looks like a gentle fellow. He's got a pleasant smile!...hehe

Was Geoffrey sitting on its knees when you took this capture Jimbob? Glad to see another picture from the Toledo Zoo, as it proves that GTG (Gary the Gator) wasn't real indeed, lol.
Thanks for this very fine capture, my friend.
Regards, cornelius.
There is no sticking your neck out with this post JimboB. It is really clear and so much detail. I hear it takes them two days to clear their throat That is why they don't talk much. Just thought you might like to know.
Another dandy for the ever out and AboutboB.
An excellent shot of Geoffrey the Giraffe, Fine colour and detail in this fine image. Is this guy real or like your friend Gary Gator?? ( A zoo full of stuffed animals?? ). Well done & nice framework.
I'm glad you clarified that, Jimbob. I mean about the family members. This is a really fine shot of Geoffrey. I think I'd recognize him any where. I love his toys.
