And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
When my wife goes to bed she always says to me: "Don't forget to put out the light." Really hope that the lighthouse keeper's wife won't repeat my wife's words.
Gorgeous lighthouse post Jimbob. Very well done mate.
Regards, Cornelius.
Hey Jim! Stunning image for sure! This is very clear and very nice to look at! Almost as beautiful as you look in your avatar! You got some of the most beautiful black eyes I have ever seen!!!

Lighthouses look so pristine when they are white and the white picket fence adds to that sense. Such a fine clear shot, Jimbo. This would be a fine subject for a watercolor painting.
Do I detect a little orton? Whatever it is it's given a nice 3d feel to the image with a real sense of depth. The trees are perhaps a little over-sharpened. I love that picket fence and the house peeking out at us from behind the shadow of the tree.
Is this Marblehead MA? Used to live in Newburyport, MA before being transported out to the western part of the state. Great capture. I like the treatment.
Hello Jim....What a beautiful setting for a lighthouse and you have captured it so well....Here in Cornwall UK we have few lighthouses dotted around the Atlantic coast...Nowadays the lighthouses are all unmanned.....Well done....All the best to you Jim................................Mick.
