Great color, placement and post work. So well presented and well captured and pleasing to see as a working farm. Those clouds are so fine too. An excellent post, Jimbo.

It looks like the field has been chiseled and waiting for next spring. They don't turn the ground over as much as the did years ago. A great farm scene and it really isn't a farm unless it has a big red barn. Editing is spot on JimboB.

And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."

This is one gorgeous shot Jimbo..but I must admit I'd rather not see this much of the stubbled field. Maybe just a tad less.
We have hundreds of fields like that right now too, and they look interesting but not too great for photos I've found out...That sky is just totally awesome...LOVE the barn too..just beautiful..Verena

The farm buildings look beautiful against the lines of trees behind and that cloudy sky adds a lot to the beauty of this scene. A fine and lovely image, Jimbob.

A very beautiful scene indeed. Those scenes are disappearing here and used to be plentiful. No wonder the prices at the grocery store go up and up.

The red of the barn stands out so well here Jim as a contrast to the more dull autumn surroundings.

It might be common but it's still impressive when you present it like this. The combination of the red barn and the soft greens is lovely.
