A excellent squirrel capture jimbo. Good detail and colour in this closeup. I like that surprised look! on his face, I guess he's never seen a nut that big till now. Great post.
A beautiful take on the little trouble maker, er, I mean critter. He's so golden, just like his surroundings and appears to be up to no good! Great capture, Jimbob!
Jim ... I'd say you got this cute squirrel's attention. Love it's rusty red colorings & how defined his or her whisker's are. Wonderful capture & nicely composed.
And the Lord spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin. Then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in my sight, shall snuff it."
Oh, looks like he found you too! If he's like the critters around here, you had to be quick... what fantastic colors, details and focus. I like his alarmed expression and colors. He's great!
This Image GRABBED my EYE. That's Why I Stopped By.
Thanks For Sharing ! Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience
Wow this is a cute one JimboB. I have my computer going and the widescreen really brings this little guy to life. I am only about a 100 comments behind.
This is perfect Jimbob! He seems a bit surprised to find you there~but what an excellent shot! He's got beautiful red color and your detail and clarity is amazing here! :)Ami
A beautiful shot and very well done! I attempted to take a shot of one of these little guys, and had my shot framed perfectly, and up nice and close, but the little guy spazzed out right when I pressed the shutter release because a guy turned the corner near the tree he was on. All I have is a blur of a squirrel as a result. :} I know it takes a great deal of patience to shoot animals, and these little guys are tougher than the ordinary nuts to photograph. :D :) Have a great day!
