It is the Ohio Peace flower JimboB. Notice the open arms and the roselike coloring. You were lucky to get this shot. They only open up to friendly folks.
Oh wow, is this beautiful and a fantastic shot Jim!!!! So focused and with excellent color! I should have known you'd think of a title like that...lol

Thanks for giving the solution for where this abbreviation stands for Jimbob, else it would have cost me my night rest, lol.
TFTWF²PMF (thanks for this wonderful F² post my friend!)
Regards, Cornelius.
PS: Thanks to Tick as well for giving the proper name for this flower. Will be very helpful (?) to find its Latin name.
It is a beautiful plant. I wouldn't mind getting one of those myself. It will look good in my living room. A wonderful shot, well framed. I like the red tinge to the centre leaves and that very interesting looking flower.
This strange plant is truly a mystery... if we all put our heads together we might be able to figure what this odd and rare plant is called
I am really stumped with this one maybe it's a brand new specie
It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
Stunning close-up....I'm not sure what it is either, so if I were you, I would NOT put it in my car for the time being.....just in case you get pulled over or something. Be your luck, it's something illegal.
A great capture of this rare madagascar carnivorous variegated bromeliad Jimbo. I wouldn't get to close to that thing it might be hungry. Actually I don't have a clue what the el it is but I thought that sounded good. Nice shot.
I think it's a succulent, but I don't know the name though I have seen it. I love the bright red center that fades to green and white. Nicely positioned here, Jimbob.
My goodness you got tons of comments here eh?!!! Interesting how the leaves turn colours and appear like a flower as the leaves grow out. Then the leaves grow out and turn greener and then the process begins all over again. Beautiful photo.Verena
Jimbob, once again you have out-foofied yourself! LOL! Gorgeous work on this unusual leafy plant! Like the deep red in the center of those stiped leaves! Well done my friend! :)Ami
This is cool Jim, looks like plant-coloured straps radiating out from a central point. I'd say it's some kind of bromeliad but what I know about plants you could write on a tic tac.
