It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.
Maumee River...That's in Ohio (Lucas County) I believe the city of Toledo (Yes... that is intentional! - LOL) is situated there...Nice capture and presentation...Thanks for sharing...
"There ain't no rest for the wicked...
Money don't grow on trees...
We got bills to pay...
We got mouths to feed...
There ain't nothing in this world for free, yeah...
Oh no,
we can't slow down,
And we can't hold back,
Though we know we wish we could...
I know there ain't no rest for the wicked...
Until we close our eyes for good..." - CAGE THE ELEPHANT Visit Jhihmoac's Gallery

JimBob this is good photography.. so well in balance! This is a place for men to have a good time, talk like a man does.. drink a good beer, Heineken or Michelob and enjoy that great view. Good post! Mich
I'd be quite happy to have a seat there! And lovely lines you've got going on here. Also like the shadows under the benches and how the leaves are piled up. Very nice!
This is truly a dandy JimboB. I like how you worked your interurban bridge in there. I think they have the benches facing the wrong direction. :) Once again you editing skills match your photography skills. Excellent post.
There is something quite satisfying about this capture. I sat a long time looking at it as there is a lot to look at. I like the horizontal lines of the bridge and the diagonal lines of the seats and little walls. Also the colours of the leaves on the trees and bushes add to this too. What a wonderful spot to just sit and watch the world go by. Fav'd and thanks for sharing!

Jim - A great place to sit and read, while having a cup of coffee - there's even an end table for everyone! Your photo has some wonderful textures and colors. Composition is spot on. Thad
I could sit for a spell there. Such a lovely view of the bridge, the fall colors and the river. I imagine you enjoyed your afternoon there....great shot!

If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Don't hoard it. Don't dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly, like a millionaire intent on going broke
