There are footprints on the ice, but they aren't mine. It has been in the thirties the last few days, and I wasn't going to chance it, going out there.
Thanks for the comments. Also, sorry for the repost. I had to edit something that was bugging me. LOL.

Do not worry,Jim,it can happen.It is a very good winter photo,the ice is very nice,i see the footprints,the clarity is very good,nice frame.The weather is rainy and mild here.

Jimbob, see that the footprints on the ice are just beside each other. Must have been someone who was not walking but perhaps jumping. This excludes the possiblility as well that it was the 'terrible snowman', lol.

Footprints...am glad you are safe, warm and snug in your home. SOmetimes its the best place we have. This is a beautiful winter scene. Don't apologize for any repost. Sometimes we just go forward the best we know how at the moment. Cold weather is not so great, but it's part of the season..after all the animals hibernate now, why can't we? Stay warm my friend. It reminds me of one of Sea's scenes without the skaters Edsel Man. FDR really brings out the colors of winter. Excellent work for a Buckeye. :)

Yep, I can see all the footprints on the ice, were they from little wildlife or like Cornelius says a funny snowman, lol

Great winter shot Jim with good lighting and lovely colours. It always makes me think twice when Americans give a temperature as you're using Fahrenheit and we use Centigrade so when I see 30 degrees I'm thinking "hot" as 30 C is 86F!!

Well done. You were smart not to try the ice. The frozen lake shot I took here; I had barely put my foot on the ice to test it and could hear it start to crack. Decided not to persue it. Keep 'em comin'.
