Being old and decrepit, it wasn't easy for for me to get over that fence to get this picture, and some others from this angle. I managed it though, and didn't even get shot at. LOL.
Glad to hear that you missed getting shot at! One sometimes has to take risks for art. This post was definitely worth it. I love the bridge peeking out from behind the trees.
Did you go over the fence - or did you bend down and crawled under the top batten - LOL! In any case it was worth the trouble to get this lovely shot Jimbob. The brown grass in front adds to the beauty of the scene.
Well, you know me with covered bridges!!! My favorite thing to see and this is just gorgeous and an outstanding capture bubba!!! Beautiful textures and excellent natural color!!!! How many scrapes did you get on your climb over?...lol...It was worth it!

After I mulled it over I believe this is my favorite of your covered bridge shots JimboB. Love the use of FDR. It brings the textures to life. Great post.
Wow!!! A magnificent treatment to this wonderful picture Jimbob!!! I am super pressed, oops, I mean impressed!! Great colors and contrast. Superb work and no exit wounds is a plus as well:):) lol
Jimbob - Ah, the things we do for the ultimate photo. Wet knees, leaning out over precarious spots, stopping traffic, risking limbs (trees and personal) to get the right shot. This is a great angle for the bridge photo, putting it in perspective with its surroundings. I like the shades of winter browns softened by the lighting. It is a neat piece of local history that you have been sharing with us. Thanks. Thad
A nice perspective in this capture. Good colour tones and clarity. I like the framing created by the trees flanking the road. Very good photo and thanks for sharing.
