At Magee Marsh, they have an observation tower for bird watchers. You can see it better in larger view.

Yep those bird lovers must spend hours staring through binoculars from the look out tower. The view from up there is very scenic even if you don't spot a single bird. Looks like the kind of place I like to hang out.....thanks for sharing Jimbob!

I think it looks like a perfect perch for an "Old Crow" like you to watch for other Magpies. Excellent work once again. Your editing with the JBR is superb.

Now that's my kinda place Jimbo. Just me, my foldin' chair and cooler set up my tripod and sit back and enjoy. Hey! You sure that ain't a guard tower?? No one shot at ya did they??

After 8 hours of bird watching, The birds will come closer because the watcher has become immobile - LOL! Very nice view Jimbob - the brown and white and the blue sky make this another lovely winter image.

I could spend the whole day in that observation tower ... maybe then I won't scare off the birds too quickly & they'll think I'm just another bird. A beautful capture Jim ... I like the color contrasts & textures.

Love the soft colors and the composition Jimbob! It is getting warmer here in PA also~I especially like the rusty red colors in the weeds and the golden tones against the icy cool water and snow! Gorgeous! :)Ami
