Normally, I don't like to include people in my shots, but I have made an exception in this case. It would have seemed awful strange to have been at the Toledo Zoo by myself. LOL.

Thanks for the comments, friends.

Great show showing some interesting old architecture. I don't expect to see such good looking buildings at the zoo. The composition and textures stand out. The addition of the people works well with your theme. Good work!

Exactly, Jimbob - I had also the same ideas but sometimes you have to include people as well and not clone them all off. I like the clarity and textures on the buildings and the sky.

The girl sitting on the steps looks a bit fed up Jimbob, I can't imagine why. The focus is slightly soft, but you've captured this old zoo building well my friend.

A fabulous shot here JB. I really like the contrast and rich coloring you've achieved!! Very effective:):) Am I right to assume these people are coming to the zoo to see you??:):)

I noticed five of the people included are women. :) I am not saying anything, other then I noticed.

I like the presentation and composition very much Jethro. The folks show how big the building are. They give it perspective too. :)

Good post.

Some fine looking Zoo Architecture you captured there, Jethro. You better hurry and get those people back in there cages before you get in trouble for letting them out. Great post.

I like that there are people at the Zoo. And that you decided to make sure they are here. I guess the little kid that's pushing the stroller, must be preparing himself for his new brother//sister to be there soon! Great photo...btw...do you have some kind of attachment to Jethro?! I'd much rather see a pic of you on here! Jethro went out with the times long ago eh?...Verena

Your foreground is impeccably exposed! :) The sky's colors seem oddly muted and drab, while it seems as though it should be blue sky between the clouds. I can see why you don't like having people in your photos, as I have the same difficulties: if they aren't supposed to be in the shot, they often are doing or looking...not very photogenic. :} Although, even when they are supposed to be in the shot sometimes that problem is still there....Anyway, I love the composition and colors of the buildings! :)
