The 310 acres of Creek Bend Farm is being developed into a 1930's-1950's era farm park to showcase history and the importance of agriculture. Generously donated by the Roush Family, and developed with funds from the Ohio Public Works Commission Clean Ohio Conservation Fund. The barn was refurbished using ash trees from the property, one of the first registered tree farms in Ohio. The site is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Is it a barn? Is it a church? All I know is it's a brilliant photograph. The overhanging branches top-left and the billowing clouds are great enhancers.

A perfect photo in every way Jimbo!! I love the whisp of a tree branch on the left, just the right touch. Also the little piece where they would tie up their horse. That's rustic and goes so well here. Red Barns are always lovely. Here in Oregon we have many as well as covered bridges. I bet your state is pretty. This is a real 'comfy' photo and I like the framing, you chose it just right my friend! Verena

Jimbob - I see from your new pic that you are getting into horseshoes, or horse something, anyway. How good that this farm is being preserved. Countless others have been plowed under for developments, with farmland disappearing. Few capture the agri-business as you. Well done. Thad
