Please tell me you can see the dog. To me, the pup is in plain sight. There were stories about this place being haunted, but nothing was mentioned about a dog, but I suppose it could be a ghost. OK...I will give you a hint. He's under the window on the right. See it now?

Thanks for the comments, friends.

What a spectacular fireplace and a wonderful shot of it! The dog thing is spooky!!! I don't think I would have found it without the hint. It just might be a ghost dog in the bricks!...hehe

Great shot Jim. Yes indeed I see the dog Jim. Someone must have put something nuclear in the fireplace and when it blew the dog was too close! :o)

Jimbob - The dog has glasses - perhaps a bot of an intellect residing in this castle. The floor plan plaque on the wall shows a design similar to a church. You have many terrific textures in this photo. Thad

I can see something resembling a pekinese (or should that be beijingese ;~}) under the right-hand window. But I'm mostly taken by the fantastic brick colours.

Did see the dog before reading your narrative and it has glasses on, so it's there for sure!

Imagine a cold winter night, a warm fire and some warm chocolate milk with cookies and a scary story....

Sorry, was day dreaming...

Nice shot!

Your sharp eyes have found the shape of the dog Jimbob. The shape does look like a dog. Perhaps it was pressed into the wall and it comes out as ghost now and then. LOL! Nice post!
