I remember from a previous post of yours, Jim that this is not Ottawa in Canada, but...er....somewhere else! Wherever it is, it looks like a great place to visit and photograph.
Excellent my old chap, would like to see a wee tad more contrast, well to be honest I have, I downloaded it and put some in to see what it looked like, and the end result was stunning, saved and faved.

The wildlife refuges are really great to have around JimboB. I am glad someone had the foresight to provide these places before the developers concreted the entire landscape.
A good composition.
Jimbob, I've said it before: some parts of Ohio have so much resemblance with Holland, that, at first sight, I thought it was taken there.
Wonderful post!
Regards, Cornelius.
Really nice, Jim, beautiful place. I don't see any wildlife though for a wildlife refuge. You didn't scare them away with your awesome photo techniques did you? Also, I really like your frame work.
My God! Have they all run away from the capital of Canada? LOL! A nice and peaceful looking scene Jimbob and a very good composition showing the low and thickly grown banks of the river.
Really nice framing here, Jim. I like the way the water splits the scene and you've gotten just the right amount of sky going on. Good color and a nice straight horizon - it's a winner, dude -
This is a lovely capture. I like the way you have got abit of everything in this - the foreground grasses, the water, the distant landscape and then that beautiful sky. Your tasteful framing makes me think that this would make a lovely picture on a wall somewhere. Well done Jim!
